Editorial Policies

N55LL150.jpg (7320 bytes)No one person controls MOA's editorial policies. The primary mission of The MOA PILOT Mag. is to serve as an interesting, highly effective educational vehicle to promote safety, fun, and utility of Mooney aircraft while also providing a useful conduit between Mooney owners/enthusiasts and Mooney aircraft vendors, manufactures, suppliers, and service providers.  We point out that his isn't just idle talk as (for example) our magazine will be closely tied into this site where we feature items such as the industries only Mooney Service and Provider Index which we term our "Hot Stuff" Index etc. and our Members Price Guide which contains the only flat rate manual known to exist for most all commonly performed Mooney maint. & refurb procedures.

Our magazine will feature professionally written articles & regular columns such as:  Preventative Maintenance Procedures,   New M20 Friendly product reviews (via the regular column; "The Mooney Shopper"), riveting first hand accounts of how; "I learned About Flying My Mooney Because Of That" (ILAFMMBOT), Mooney SDR's and AD's etc., Mooniac A&P reports will be covered in greater detail than can be printed in only one issue.   Therefore, some interesting magazine features and regular columns may be spread over two consecutive issues;  perhaps starting the "Open Edition" and then completed in the next months "Members Only Edition"

We urge all Mooney owners to protect your substantial investment in flying and owning your Mooney by Joining MOA and never miss an important article or feature! Click Here for our Magazine Distribution Policy and Information Page.

MOA Members Never Miss An Important Issue!

The MOA PILOT Magazine

InauguralCoverSm.jpg (15149 bytes)While most issues will contain many of the following features or professionally written and researched columns, sometimes to increase interest and to address timely events, various columns may be displaced, spread over multiple issues, or even continued on-line,  on a "space available basis".    In fact, many times we will rotate various columns and features throughout the year thus giving the magazine professional variety, interest, and in keeping with current events within the Mooney marketplace.

Our professional editorial staff is largely nationally known aviation writers and your magazine will "read easy" and promises be hard to put down!

Make no mistake however, while we will embrace a more professional demeanor befitting the quality of Mooney ownership our readers demand, we not only welcome but will require reader and member input to be an invaluable  source of  material and information for our readers.
